Mark Teixeira threw some empty coolers in the New York Yankees dugout out of frustration for being tagged out at home during the eighth inning of Monday night's game in Texas.
Teixeira was on second base with two outs and was waved home on a Chase Headley single to short center field. Teixeira thought he would score easily, but a strong throw nailed him at home plate.
Teixeira showed some frustration towards the third base coach for sending him home, then let loose to the dugout by throwing aside some empty coolers before grabbing himself a cup of water.
You have to respect the passion for the game by Teixeira. Even though the Yankees had a comfortable 6-2 lead (and would win the game by that score), he still wanted to score that extra run.
