Pensacola Blue Wahoos manager Pat Kelly picked up a rosin bag from the pitcher's mound and applied it to his underarms during a tirade directed at the umpires after being ejected from Saturday's double-A minor league baseball game.
It happened in the ninth inning after Wahoos catcher Kyle Skipworth was ejected from behind the plate while talking to his pitcher. Skipworth had a worthy tirade of his own as he "tossed" the home plate umpire, then took all of his catcher's gear and threw it on the field towards the umpire before he walked off the field.
Kelly tried to defend his catcher, but gradually became more angry, leading to his ejection. That's when Kelly let loose, throwing down his cap and "tossing" all three umpires. Kelly stripped off his jersey and left it near the mound, then the rosin bag as deodorant while having some last words for each of the umpires. Kelly then left the field to a standing ovation from the Wahoo fans.
