A Philadelphia Phillies fan lost some of his beer when a sharp foul ball was hit in his direction and hit the side of his beer bottle during the second inning of Monday night's game against Tampa Bay.
Darin Ruf hit the 3-1 pitch into the stands on the third-base side and hit the fan in the finger as he held his bottle. Fortunately, the fan was OK, and most of his beer stayed in the bottle. It could have been a lot worse either way.
