A young Los Angeles Angels fan nearly lost his hot dog while eating it prior to the start of the second inning during Tuesday night's game against Minnesota.
The young fan was the early selection for "Fan of the Game" by the Angels television broadcast team. While on camera, he accidentally pulled the hot dog out of its bun while chewing it so that it was resting on top of the bun. Sure enough, the hot dog fell off the bun, but fortunately landed on the boy's seat instead of on the floor, which meant the boy was able to recover quickly and continue eating uninterrupted.
Talk about a real close call. That could have been a disaster.
