Jose Bautista was very unhappy with a Toronto Blue Jays fan that interfered with him making a play during the fourth inning of Thursday night's game against Minnesota.
Twins batter Miguel Sano hit a blooper to short right field that landed fair and bounced towards the stands. Bautista had a chance to grab the ball and make a throw to second, but the Blue Jays fan reached over the wall and took the ball away from him.
Sano was awarded a ground rule double, while the fan laughed at his own ignorance. Bautista did not think it was funny. Sure enough, Trevor Plouffe came up next for the Twins and hit a two-run homer.
In the end, however, things worked out for the Blue Jays. The fan was escorted out of the stadium by security (although he got to keep the ball), and the Blue Jays beat the Twins 9-3 to extend their winning streak to five straight games.
