NYCFC forward David Villa accidentally ripped the shorts of NY Red Bulls midfielder Felipe Martins right in half during Sunday night's MLS match between the local rivals.
It appeared that Villa grabbed onto the shorts in an attempt to slow his momentum as Martins kicked the ball in the other direction. Fortunately, Martins was not going commando underneath, but things got awkward as Martins didn't seem in too much of a hurry to get a new pair of shorts.
UPDATE: Felipe did get a new pair of shorts, and he got his revenge by scoring a goal in the 85th minute, sealing the victory for the NY Red Bulls.

Near post from Felipe to make it 2-0 in Harrison. Red Bulls headed toward a third straight win over NYCFC. #NYvNYC http://t.co/GFOExUCH8i
