Dez Bryant was punched directly in the face during a huge brawl that broke out with the St. Louis Rams during a joint practice at the California training camp facility of the Dallas Cowboys.
Bryant was talking to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when he saw the fight from across the field and decided to join in. Bryant made the mistake of taking his helmet off, leaving himself open to be punched by one of the Rams rookies:
As the video below shows, the fight spilled over to the railing separating players and fans, making for a potentially dangerous situation.
Not surprisingly, Rams coach Jeff Fisher called off the remainder of practice after the incident.
