A Los Angeles Dodgers ball boy took a big tumble into the stands as he made a valiant attempt to catch a foul ball during the fifth inning of Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
The ball boy came just a few inches short of making a great leaping catch, but fell sideways over the wall. Fortunately, he was able to adjust his body before he fell to the ground so that he landed on his back when he hit the floor. It probably hurt just a bit, but the most important thing was that he was OK.
The ball boy bounced up and got back to his position, but naturally was a little embarrassed. However, we hope that the ovation that he received from the Dodger fans made him feel a bit better about his efforts.
