Tampa Bay Rays center fielder Kevin Kiermaier made an incredible leaping grab against the outfield wall to rob Baltimore Orioles leadoff batter Manny Machado of a home run in the first inning of Monday night's game at Camden Yards.
The ball would have cleared the wall by a couple of feet, but Kiermaier used every inch of his vertical leap and caught the ball with his arm fully extended. Definitely a candidate for best catch of the year.
