An NFL referee who was bumped by a Green Bay Packers player completed a forward flip like it was no big deal during a Thursday night preseason game in New England.
The official was trying to get out of the way as Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garapolo threw a deep ball to the center of the field. The ref was able to avoid interfering with Pats receiver Josh Boyce, but got knocked in the back by Packers safety Jean Fanor. Amazingly, however, the official completed the somersault and walked it off like it was no big deal.
As far as the play itself, the ball fell incomplete, just outside of the outstretched arms of Boyce.
H/T NIS.
