A San Diego Padres ballgirl snagged a line drive with a terrific catch during the eighth inning of Sunday's game at Petco Park.
Matt Kemp hit the sharp liner towards the stands in left field. The ballgirl leaped up and made the catch, then handed it off to a young fan like it was no big deal. The fans in the third base stands gave the ballgirl a standing ovation, and the Padres broadcast team named her catch the play of the game. Well deserved.
