Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III left Thursday night's preseason game against Detroit in the second quarter with a stinger and possible head injury as he got crushed on the bottom of a pile after fumbled the ball.
On the play, RGIII started to run after he couldn't find an open receiver, but the ball fell right out of his hand. As RGIII dove on top of it to cover it up, Lions defensive lineman Corey Wooten landed on top of him, with other players piling on.
RGIII took an absolute beating in the game, as he was sacked three times and was hit hard on six pass attempts. He finished 2-for-5 with 8 yards passing. Not a good sign for Redskins fans.
