A Qatari soccer goaltender gave up a ridiculous goal after taking too much time to clear a back pass during an AFC Champions League quarterfinal match.
Lekhwiya goalkeeper Amine Lecomte-Addani received a pass from his teammate, then took his time setting himself up and lining up the ball for the big kick. Lecomte-Addani was calm and relaxed, and it became painfully obvious that he didn't see Al-Hilal's AĆlton Almeida charging towards him. The resulting clearance attempt was blocked by Almeida and bounced right into the net.
Al-Hilal won the first leg 4-1. Lecomte-Addani will have some time to think about this one, as the second leg will be played on September 15th.
H/T Deadspin.
