Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo was seen passing out orange slices to his teammates and coaches during the fifth inning of Wednesday's game against Cincinnati.
Orange slices are a common sight at youth sporting events, but you rarely professional athletes at the professional level eating them during games, if ever. Cubs broadcasters even joked that Rizzo was playing the role of "team mom".
Will this be a new ritual in the Cubs dugout? Well, the Cubs lost the game to the Reds 7-4, so don't count on it just yet.
