Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Chase Utley was heavily booed, while New York Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada was given a round of cheers, during pregame introductions prior to Game 3 of the NLDS at Citi Field.
Mets fans were prepared to let Utley have it after his late slide at second base took out Tejada during Game 2, breaking his leg and knocking him out of commission for the rest of the postseason. Utley showed no reaction to the crowd.
Tejada walked out of the Mets dugout with a boot and a cane and waved his cap to acknowledge the fans.
