Vancouver Canucks left winger Daniel Sedin probably wishes he could have a do-over after missing a shot on a wide-open net during the third period of Sunday night's game against Edmonton.
With the game tied at 1-1, Sedin's brother Henrik beat the Oilers defense for a one-on-one against goaltender Anders Nilsson. Henrik went to his backhand and forced Nilsson to dive to his left to save his shot, but the puck trickled out in front of the wide open net, setting Daniel up perfectly. However, Daniel Sedin tried to push the puck in and got his blade under the puck, knocking it straight up and over the crossbar.
In the end, it was a very costly miss by Sedin, as the Oilers beat the Canucks 2-1 in OT.
