In Australian Baseball League action, a Houston Astros prospect crashed through an outfield wall while attempting to chase down a fly ball.
Mark Wik is currently playing center field for the Adelaide Bite. In a recent game against the Melbourne Aces, Wik sprinted towards the wall and tried to make an over-the-shoulder catch in deep center field. He got to the spot where he needed to be, but the ball bounced out of his glove. Wik couldn't stop his momentum, and he broke right through the makeshift aluminum outfield wall.
Wik remained in the game, finishing 0-for-1 with a couple of walks.
