Jaromir Jagr had to leave Tuesday night's Florida Panthers game against Ottawa as a bloody mess after taking a high stick to the face in the first period.
Senators forward Alex Chiasson got Jagr in the face with his stick as the Panthers converged on the Senators net during a power play opportunity.
Jagr left the game and was bleeding heavily from his mouth. It was discovered later that Jagr lost four teeth from the high stick.
As luck would have it, Chiasson was not called for a penalty because somehow none of the officials saw the high stick, despite the fact that it happened right in the middle of the action. How did the officials not see it?
