Jimmy Butler came through in the clutch with a mid-air adjustment to tip in Pau Gasol's alley oop for the game-winning shot with 1.2 seconds left in overtime, giving the Chicago Bulls a 102-100 victory over Indiana.
It came off an inbounds play which started with 3.7 seconds left in OT. Gasol took the inbounds pass near the three point line and lobbed it towards the basket. Butler was covered well by Paul George, but the arc of Gasol's alley oop was high enough that George couldn't get his hands on it.
A well designed and well executed play. That should help the Bulls players have more confidence in their coach Fred Hoiberg.
