Kobe Bryant made the road trip to Charlotte for the last time as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers before he retires at the end of the season to face the Hornets on Monday night.
NBA legend Michael Jordan, who happens to be part-owner of the Hornets, paid his respects to Bryant with some kind words in a taped video message that played on the Jumbotron prior to player introductions.
After Jordan's message, which was a little over 90 seconds, the P.A. announcer gave "The Black Mamba" his well-deserved introduction to the crowd.
