In Swedish Tier II League hockey action Wednesday night, Michael Lindqvist made himself look ridiculous after launching into the air with a shameless dive during AIK's match against Tingsryds AIF.
Lindqvist was driving towards the net with the puck when defenseman Robin Olsson jammed his stick up into Lindqvist's midsection. Now it's possible that the stick caused Lindqvist some pain, but this was a bit over the top.
The referees agreed and gave Lindqvist a penalty for embellishment.
