Ohio State Buckeyes offensive coordinator Ed Warinner was hit in the face with a field goal attempt during Wednesday's practice.
It happened right at the end of the practice session as kicker Sean Nuernberger was attempting a 42-yard field goal with Warinner standing close by. For some reason, after the ball was snapped, Warinner walked right into the path of the kick.
First of all, we hope Warinner is OK. That's the most important thing above all else. However, we have to wonder why Warinner walked right in front of the kicker as he was attempting a field goal attempt. Very strange...
Quarterback Cardale Jones seemed to especially appreciate the play as a memorable way to end his final practice in pads at the college level, as he is leaving school early to head to the NFL.
H/T FTW.
