Stephen Curry proved once again why he is the reigning NBA MVP, scoring 17 points in a 3-minute stretch near the end of the first half as he led the Golden State Warriors to victory against Sacramento.
After not scoring in the first quarter, Curry finally got on the scoreboard with a three-pointer with 3:15 remaining in the first half. However, Curry heated up quickly, making five three pointers in the next 2:54, most of which were taken from 26 feet or more away from the basket. Curry also used a crossover move to drive down the lane and score a layup to round out his 17 points.
Curry finished with a triple double as he scored 23 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished 10 assists. The Warriors beat the Kings 122-103.
