U.S. international soccer midfielder Alejandro Bedoya took down his girlfriend with a slide tackle during a kick-around in the park after she suggested that they "play for real". He didn't waste the opportunity to prove his manhood.
Fortunately, Bedoya's girlfriend Beatrice Hilland, a medical staffer for the Swedish national team, was able to laugh about it afterwards.
Like they say, it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.
