An Australian Open line judge took a painful shot to the groin from a Tomas Berdych serve in Tuesday's quarterfinal match against Roger Federer.
It happened during the first set tie-breaker as Berdych made an errant serve that registered at 121 mph. The line judge tried to get out of the way, but he just wasn't fast enough.
Line judges in tennis probably aren't required to wear cups, but they may want to consider it after watching this.
H/T LBS.
