Pac-12 college basketball analyst Bill Walton went off the rails a little bit during the opening half of Saturday night's game between Arizona and Cal to have a discussion on volcanoes.
Walton was covering the game on ESPN with play-by-play man Dave Pasch. One minute, Walton is talking about Cal junior guard Jordan Mathews and describing his offensive potential with the term "explosive volcano". The next thing you know, Walton is contemplating whether the number of active volcanoes around the world is a sign from above.
Not exactly the type of analysis you expect to hear during a college basketball game, but that's Walton for you. You never know what you're going to get from him, but one thing's for sure: he makes things interesting.
