Minnesota Timberwolves rookie center Karl-Anthony Towns hit an incredible over-the-shoulder, over-the-backboard shot during the first quarter of Wednesday night's game against Oklahoma City.
An official's whistle had blown play dead, so the shot by Towns didn't count, which is really too bad. A shot like this could live on in highlight reels for decades.
Not only that, but Towns couldn't make this shot again if he tried it again a thousand more times. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
