Leicester City defender Robert Huth delivered what can only be described as one of the worst free kicks of all time during Sunday's Premier League match against Stoke.
Huth lined up for a free kick in the center of the field, just outside the penalty box, with a wall of defenders lined up between the ball and the net. The German's kick went WAY wide right...and just kept going.
We can't help but borrow a phrase from Bob Eucker on this one, but that kick was "juuuust a bit outside."
Fortunately, Leicester City had a 2-0 lead on the way to a 3-0 victory, so no harm, no foul this time. However, we don't anticipate Huth taking any more free kicks anytime soon.
H/T Pies.
