Former NBA big man Andray Blatche threw his headband at a referee during a playoff game in the Chinese Basketball Association on Wednesday.
Blatche, who spent time with the Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets, currently plays for the CBA's Xinjiang Flying Tigers, who held a 1-0 series lead over defending CBA champion Beijing Ducks in the best-of-5 first round matchup.
In the second period of Wednesday night's Game 2, Blatche appeared to get hacked by two Beijing defenders, but no foul was called. Blatche expressed his displeasure by ripping the headband off his head and throwing it at the referee.
Naturally, the referees did not approve of Blatche's behavior and called him for a technical foul. Fortunately, however, Blatche managed to regain his composure, as he played a crucial role in Xinjiang's 104-101 victory by scoring 37 points.
