New York Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi was fortunate not to be seriously injured when a live puck got wedged between his face and his visor, forcing a stoppage of play during the third period of Saturday's game against Dallas.
Girardi lifted his hand up for the referee to blow the whistle, and once he realized he was OK, he couldn't help but laugh at his predicament as he gradually pulled the puck out from underneath his visor.
It's not the first time we've seen this happen, as Patrik Nemeth found himself in the same situation last year.
The Rangers beat the Stars 3-2.
