Duke Blue Devils sophomore guard Grayson Allen tripped an opposing player and got away with it during the final seconds of Thursday night's win over Florida State.
Allen was defending FSU sophomore guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes as the Seminoles were setting up an inbounds play. As Rathan-Mayes started to sprint up the court, Allen stretched his left leg back and lifted it up as he ran by, sending him tumbling to the court.
This is the second time this month that Allen has intentionally tripped an opponent. However, unlike the incident on February 8th when Allen was given a flagrant foul for tripping a Louisville player, no foul was called. It would appear that Allen got away with this one, at least for now. ACC senior associate commissioner Paul Brazeau attended the game and said afterwards that the incident will be reviewed.
Allen led Duke with 18 points as the Blue Devils beat Florida State 80-65.
