Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville abruptly stormed out of his postgame press conference following Tuesday night's 2-0 loss to San Jose.
Quenneville was asked about a first period goal by Brandon Mashinter that was overturned due to goaltender interference by Dennis Rasmussen, and that seemed to set him off.
"It’s gotten to a different level...I don’t know the rules anymore, or something’s changed...I played a lot of hockey. I don’t know. I think everybody has an interpretation, what’s a good goal and what’s a bad goal. But I can’t believe it."
It was the second time in a week that the Blackhawks had a goal taken away due to goaltender interference, and Quenneville was extremely upset over that call as well.
