In Tuesday night Asian Cup soccer action, Lebanese club Al Ahed FC goalkeeper Hassan Bittar gave up an embarrassing own goal against Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr FK.
Bittar had plenty of time to handle his teammate's back pass, but allowed it to go underneath his foot and couldn't recover in time to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
The only consolation to Bittar may be that the own goal was credited to the defender.
Al Ahed was not able to recover as they lost the match 2-0.
