In Super Lig soccer action from Turkey, Trabzonspor defender Salih Dursun turned his team's match into a comedy show when he showed the red card to a referee.
It happened in the 87th minute after one of Dursun's teammates was given a red card for tackling an opponent in the penalty box. As other Trabzonspor players were arguing with the referee, Dursun snuck in and grabbed the red card out of the referee's hand, then showed it to him in a hilarious attempt to send the referee off.
A Trabzonspor played pulled a Gazza last night showing the ref the red card & gets sent off. You couldn't make it uphttps://t.co/tlKTlQ7UiC— Boylesports (@BoyleSports) February 22, 2016
Naturally, that didn't go over so well. Dursun ended up getting sent off, along with three of his teammates, leaving Trabzonspor to finish the match with only seven players on the pitch. They lost the match 2-1 as Galatsaray converted on a last-minute penalty kick.
