Cardinals-Mets game delayed as sprinklers turn on (Video)

A brief delay occurred in Monday's MLB spring training game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets when the left field sprinklers turned on just as the sixth inning was about to start.

Cardinals left fielder Anthony Garcia was very fortunate not to get wet, as he was surrounded by the sprinklers and had to move out of the way.

Fortunately, the sprinklers were turned off after about 30 seconds and the game resumed, but it certainly proved to be an unusual moment.
