Houston Astros outfielder Carlos Gomez snapped his bat over his leg after striking out swinging in the third inning of Sunday night's game against Boston.
Gomez came up with runners on first and second and one out and was clearly frustrated after failing to connect with a big swing and a miss on strike three.
It's been that kind of season so far for Gomez, who is now batting .194 after going 1 for 6 Sunday night as the Red Sox beat the Astros 7-5 in 12 innings.
