Chicago White Sox announcer Ken "Hawk" Harrelson had an embarrassing goof during Wednesday night's game against Oakland when he called a fly ball a "can of corn" before it landed in the right field seats for a home run.
It happened in the second inning as A's outfielder Mark Canha hit a fly ball to deep right field. Right fielder Adam Eaton turned to watch the ball fly into the stands, as he never had a chance, but Harrelson seemed to think it was an easy out until it landed in the stands.
Harrelson has scaled back his workload, covering only road games for the White Sox this year. He probably just needs to get back into a groove.
In the end, Canha's home run ended up the game-winning hit as the A's beat the White Sox 2-1.

"Canha into right field, that's a can of corn........out of here."
