NFL MVP Cam Newton may be known for his running or passing skills, but he displayed his physical strength with a solid block on an opposing linebacker during Thursday night's season opener.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback led the way on a Ted Ginn reverse with a nice block on Denver Broncos linebacker Shane Ray.
Newton needs to be careful, though. If he goes down, the Panthers go down with him. Just ask Carson Palmer and the Cincinnati Bengals what that's like.
