An errant pass from Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback Malik Zaire hit a sideline worker in the head during Sunday night's season opener at Texas.
It happened during the first half as Zaire's pass was a bit high for his receiver, who deflected the ball as it went through his hands. Unfortunately, the deflection redirected the ball right into the face of an unsuspecting man on the sideline who couldn't react to protect himself.
Obviously this was not intentional. We hope that the man is OK.
H/T FTW.
