A New York Yankees fan trying to propose to his girlfriend nearly lost the engagement ring during Tuesday night's game against Boston.
It happened in the bottom of the fifth inning as the couple was featured on the scoreboard while the man was asking his girlfriend to marry him. However, as he took out the ring, the ring dropped, leading to a frantic search.
As the man's nightmare scenario played out, the entire section of fans joined in to help find the ring. However, just as it seemed all hope was lost, the girlfriend looked down and found the ring in her pant cuff, which led to the biggest cheers of the night. Finally, the man was able to finish his proposal, and she said yes.
