Los Angeles Clippers superstar Blake Griffin accidentally hit Toronto Raptors guard Cory Joseph in the face Wednesday night...with a teammate's shoe. Wait, what?
It happened halfway through the second quarter as Clippers guard Jamal Crawford lost his shoe in the middle of the court. Griffin picked up the shoe and tried to toss it aside so no one would trip over it. Unfortunately, he had to get rid of it quickly, as Crawford saw him wide open and was passing the ball to him. Therefore, Griffin had to toss it without looking, and he caught Joseph in the chin.
No foul was called, so apparently this is legal?
Griffin obviously didn't mean to hit Joseph in the face, and he apologized to him shortly afterwards. They both got a good laugh out of it, as we did watching it.
Griffin led the way for the Clippers with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists as they beat the Raptors 104-98.
