Detroit Tigers outfielder Steven Moya used an unorthodox method of breaking in his glove during Wednesday's spring training game against Philadelphia.
In the bottom of the first, Moya was busy banging on his glove with a hammer.
Now that's something you don't see every day.
As luck would have it, Moya didn't get a chance to test out his glove. His only game action came in the 8th inning as as a pinch hitter for DH Victor Martinez, when he grounded out to shortstop. The Phillies beat the Tigers 8-2.
