Baseball Hall of Fame electee Tim Raines dropped the puck in Montreal prior to Thursday night's Canadiens game at the Bell Centre.
"Rock" Raines came up to the majors with the Montreal Expos in 1979 and played there until being traded to Chicago in 1990. His 12 seasons in Montreal were the longest stretch of his career with any MLB team. Raines proudly wore his Expos jersey to the pregame ceremony and received a big ovation from the crowd.
Raines will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this summer.
The Canadiens beat the Florida Panthers 6-2.
