The Boston Celtics honored retired star Paul Pierce by retiring his number 34 jersey on Sunday. Former teammates Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett, along with former coach Doc Rivers, were in attendance for the ceremony and sat together in the front row of the TD Garden.
Unfortunately, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were in town as the opponents for the current Celtics, and the Cavs put a beating on them with a 121-99 victory. James seemed to particularly enjoy staring down Garnett, Rondo and Rivers as he picked apart the celtics defense.
At least 3 times in the 2nd quarter LeBron made a shot and looked straight at Doc Rivers/Garnett/Rondo under hoop after (h/t @fultzjumper) pic.twitter.com/UshZkgiWtZ

LeBron led the Cavs with 24 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Understandably, Pierce was disappointed.
