New York Islanders center Matt Barzal gave his stick to a fan after Saturday's game in Detroit.
The Islanders rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Red Wings 3-2. Barzal had an assist on the tying goal, which was scored on a power play in the second period. After the game, Barzal spotted a girl in the front row with a sign which asked him for his stick. Since he had some extras, he gladly gave her one by carefully passing it over the glass.
That was a very cool gesture on Barzal's part, and she will be a fan for life.
