Julian Edelman spikes ceremonial puck at Bruins game (Video)

Super Bowl LIII MVP Julian Edelman took a cue from teammate Rob Gronkowski during the ceremonial puck drop prior to Tuesday night's Boston Bruins game at the TD Garden.

Edelman led a large group of his New England Patriots teammates to center ice as they were cheered by the hometown Bruins fans. The Pats player were dressed in customized Bruins jerseys, and Edelman was the most noteworthy player who attended. They were joined by owner Robert Kraft, who wore a classic Patriots hoodie along with some very shiny bling around his neck.

Edelman was given the honor of conducting the ceremonial puck drop between Bruins alternate captain Patrice Bergeron and New York Islanders captain Anders Lee. However, as Bergeron and Lee were posing for the camera, Edelman wound up and spiked the puck on the ice.

The Patriots players got a big laugh out of it.

To top things off, the Bruins beat the Islanders 3-1, so the Boston fans went home very happy.
