Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn was taken down by an accidental clothesline from a referee during Tuesday night's NHL game in Florida.
It happened in the first period as linesman Ryan Galloway was making an icing call. Galloway was sitting on top of the boards in front of the Panthers bench and extended his arms straight out for the icing call just as Benn was skating by. Benn never saw it coming.
Fortunately, Benn was just fine afterwards and got a good laugh out of it, which means it's OK for him to laugh. We're sure Galloway felt bad an apologized.
