Dallas Stars right winger Ryan Reaves knocked Vegas Golden Knights center Andrew Cogliano out of Tuesday night's NHL game in Las Vegas with a monster hit.
It happened with about 6:35 remaining in the first period as Reaves lined up Cogliano perfectly. Cogliano was handling the puck and got rid of it just before getting knocked into the boards right in front of the Stars bench.
The hit by Reaves was clean, so no penalty was called.
Cogliano went right to the bench and never returned to the game due to an "upper body injury". Reaves was credited with 8 hits for the game as the Golden Knights beat the Stars 4-1.
