A Boston Bruins fan made a fantastic play as he caught a flying puck during Saturday's game against Ottawa.
It happened in the first period as the puck was deflected high over the glass and into the seats. The alert Bruins fan, sitting about six rows behind the glass, caught the puck against his chest with his left hand while holding his beer in his right hand. He made the catch without spilling a drop of beer. Outstanding.
The best part of the story was that the fan didn't hesitate to give the puck away to a young girl sitting in front of him. Now that was a generous gesture.
The Bruins beat the Senators 3-2, so we know that these Bruins fans went home happy.
