The Carolina Hurricanes went curling during their latest "Storm Surge" to celebrate Saturday's 4-2 home victory over the visiting Buffalo Sabres.
The Hurricanes lined up in four groups for the demonstration, with one player of each group giving up their helmet to use as the curling stone. That player bowled their helmet across the ice while two other players in each group played the role of "sweepers", using their sticks as brooms.
Recent Storm Surge celebrations have included "duck, duck, goose" and boxing, so the Hurricanes still seem to have plenty of fresh ideas.
